Is Jim Elliot Christian accredited?

 

Yes, the school received the highest level of accreditation this past Spring from both the ACSI and WASC accreditation team for 6 years starting in 2015, with one mid-term visit. It is accredited by ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) and WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges). One is Christian and the other is secular. This means that any credit earned at Jim Elliot Christian is accepted by colleges.

 

 

What are the spiritual requirements for admission?

 

At least one parent and the student must be born-again believers in Jesus Christ and regularly attend a Bible-teaching church.

 


What are the academic requirements for admission?

 

A 3.0 GPA is preferred and no less than a 2.0 GPA with no F’s and average or above standardized test scores.

 

Is Christian curriculum used exclusively at Jim Elliot Christian?

 

No, Jim Elliot Christian uses a combination of Bob Jones curriculum along with carefully selected secular curriculum.

 

 

Is Jim Elliot Christian associated with any church or denomination?

 

No, the school is non-denominational. The school leases facility space from Temple Baptist Church, but is not affiliated.

 

 

Is the school non-profit?

 

Yes, a board of trustees governs the school.
