Update your high school activity record. This includes all extracurricular activities, athletics, community service, missions, etc. that you have completed during high school.
Attend local College Fairs, both Christian and UC/CSU. (dates TBA in Eagle Press)
Apply to colleges in the fall. UC and CSU deadline is November 30. Check private and out-of-state college website for individual deadlines.
You can continue taking the SAT and ACT exam through December for UC and CSU institutions. Private colleges set their own deadlines so contact them directly. Make sure to note that you have an upcoming exam on your application.
Request official transcripts from the Academic Advisor and letters of recommendation from your teachers, giving at least 2 weeks notice.
Complete and submit a FAFSA between January 1 and March 2. Attend a local Cash for College Workshop. (Dates and locations TBA)

Begin taking both the SAT and/or the ACT. It is suggested that you take each exam, consult the SAT/ACT concordance to determine if you score better on one exam over the other and if so, focus on improving that score alone. SAT subject test is required for some colleges with competitive majors in order to demonstrate subject proficiency.
