Students seeking admittance to the school are evaluated on the basis of their spiritual walk, past academic achievements, behavior references, admissions questionnaires, interview, and demonstrated potential for success at Jim Elliot. We admit students of any race, color, or national ethnic origin who meet Jim Elliot entrance requirements.
What are the spiritual requirements for admission?
There are no spiritual requirements to attend Jim Elliot apart from openness to the Christian faith.
What are the academic requirements for admission?
No less than a 2.0 GPA with no F’s and average or above standardized test scores are required.
Families may register their student on the Prospect List by completing the Prospect Form starting when their student is in the 6th grade. This does not guarantee enrollment but it does ensure the family of getting the latest enrollment information. Once the student’s name has been placed on the Prospect List, students receive an invitation to Preview Day, which is held every January, and marks the beginning of the enrollment period. Students and parents are invited to 8th Grade Emerging Eaglet Parties when the students are in eighth grade to give them an opportunity to learn more about the school.
This event provides you and your student an opportunity to attend a Chapel, meet students and staff, and learn more about our school. Applications are available beginning on Preview Day.
Only completed application packets are accepted.
The student and at least one parent with whom the student will be residing while attending Jim Elliot must be present at the interview (both parents are preferable at the interview).
A completed application contains the below information and in the following order:
